I love when last minute sessions work out, and baby girl Vania fit right into the end of a busy newborn session week! Mom contacted me for a newborn session and I was thrilled to work her in.
Baby girl Vania came in perfectly asleep and stayed that way for her entire 60 minute session. She had the most beautiful skin and jet black hair. She looked gorgeous on my waffle knit mauve blanket with all the girly headbands. When I put her in a matching bonnet, she looked just like a living doll. At just a little over 5 pounds, she was a teeny tiny thing, but her adorable back rolls did not disappoint.
Dad did his pre-session homework. He showed us one of our setups he really liked from another newborn session, and I was all too happy to repeat it. I absolutely love when parents come in with pictures of my own work as inspiration. I used my asymmetrical wooden bowl, that I’ll use until the end of time I love it so much. Paired with my new obsession- the rustic cocoa colored wrap from The Indy Cottage Prop Shop. I want to have these rustic wraps in every color! Dad did good too, because the colors were absolutely perfect for his baby girl.
I didn’t actually see baby girl Vania’s eyes during her mini newborn session, and before I knew it, time was up and we had gotten every pose we needed and more. And I *may* have gone a little overboard on her gallery. She was just too good to me!
Congratulations to this lovely family of three and check out newborn Vania’s mini newborn session below!
