I was so glad to be able to do five week old baby boy Anthony’s mini newborn session a short while ago! He came in perfectly sleepy so I wrapped him up and got to work.
Mom and Dad, Caitlyn and Austin, met at work. Austin’s boss played a bit of match maker, and put Austin with Caitlyn because he knew Austin liked her. They’ve been together for two years now, and were thrilled to welcome baby boy Anthony. They named him from grandfathers from each of their families. Caitlyn and Austin love spending time with their horses and dogs, so Anthony is destined to be an animal lover too.
Newborn baby boy was sleepy for almost his entire session. He snuggled into every pose I put him in. He looked so peaceful on my cream colored flokati rug, like he was sleeping on a cloud. Mom liked neutrals, so we did some grey on the bean bag, and used my rip van winkle grey plaid cap. He looked as deeply asleep as old Rip was in his story.
Right at the end of the session when I was about to get him dressed, he woke up and I knew I had to get some wide eyed shots. Baby boy looked directly into my camera for every single one! He didn’t cry or fuss, just looked so sweetly up at me. He had the most beautiful big blue eyes.
It was wonderful to be able to do this last minute mini newborn session for baby boy Anthony. I hope to see this gorgeous family of three again soon!
