The teeniest newborn pixie came into my studio for her newborn session. Baby Aubrey was an absolute dream, and I quickly fell in love. New parents Greg and Kimbre obviously felt the same, and it showed in the family images I captured during the parent posing part of Aubrey’s session.

Greg and Kimbre both grew up in Indiana, but met on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on spring break in college. Greg went to Butler, and Kimbre went to Purdue, but they discovered they’d be in the same med school class in the fall. They were friends for a while before dating, and the rest is history! Ten years they’ve been together, and married for four, and now they’ve welcomed this perfect baby girl into their family. They love to travel and be outdoors, and plan on continuing to travel with Aubrey once she’s old enough to enjoy it!

Aubrey was not only a tiny little thing, she was also beautiful. She had the most amazing eyelashes, the sweetest little smirks, and pretty dark hair. We did some neutrals, of course, because that’s my jam, and I even managed to work some fall into a neutral set-up with white pumpkins, my metal pail, and a natural burlap layer. Baby girl was so tiny in all my newborn props!

Kimbre had mentioned she loved purple, and I’ve been really loving deep plum for fall this year, and apparently Aubrey loved it too because I got so many sweet sleepy smiles while posing her on purple. Mom also brought in a beautiful floral wrap for the session that we worked into a mauve set-up. I don’t think I saw Aubrey’s eyes the entire time she was in the studio, nor did she make a peep. She was truly a dream baby.

It was lovely to meet this new family of three, take a look at all the squishy newborn poses I captured with baby girl Aubrey!RSP_0710RSP_0729RSP_0759RSP_0767RSP_0796-2RSP_0836RSP_0850RSP_0904RSP_0908
