Newborn baby girl Lillian came into my studio to pose for her mini newborn session and was perfection in front of the camera. New mom Katie, brought her mama in with her to the session, and they both looked in love with their new daughter and granddaughter. Katie was so relaxed and in love with her daughter, she seemed to be taking to motherhood beautifully.
Mini sessions are solely focused on the newborn baby, so we got right to it with Miss Lillian. Katie had asked for lavender, and she was right on the money with that color choice for her baby girl. In fact, I’ve decided I need to get more lavender props and shades of purple so I have more to choose from, I loved Lillian’s session so much.
I could have posed Lillian all day long, that’s how good she was for her hour long mini session. I decided to use my wicker basket because she was just a little flower child. The metal bucket as well, to stick with the garden theme. She went right into both props without a peep. In fact, I’m not sure I saw her little eyes the entire time she was in my studio.
Baby girl Lillian also had the softest, fullest head of hair. It went this way and that, and I felt no need to tame it. Her light brown hair looked great against lavender and peaked out of the bonnets we used in all the right ways.
