You’d think I’d be referring to all my March newborns as spring babies, but not this year in Indiana. Spring has been elusive, but Miss Mia came in and brightened up my studio for her newborn session a few weeks ago.
Michael and Tori met in college at Indiana Wesleyan. They both played soccer at University. They have been married for 3 1/2 years and were very excited to be growing to a family of three. Baby girl Mia has two older fur siblings, English Bulldogs, who love her very much.
This little girl was precious in any color I put her on. I have a new favorite wooden bowl fromĀ Indy Cottage Prop Shop (don’t worry, nothing happened to the old favorite wooden bowl!). Newborn Mia looked like she was settled on a puff of cloud on my fluffy white bump in the bowl. She was perfection on one of my favorite pink blankets, with the perfect baby fat rolls when she was snuggled on her tummy. I also tried a new set up on my blanket with purple undertones.
Proving she looked good in everything, check out my new vintage white and black bowl I picked up from a shop in Nashville! There are a couple of perfect chips in this bowl’s white enamel making it the perfect amount of “worn in”. I had found a new dark grey bow headband fromĀ The Original Photoblocks Props to match one of my dark grey bumps. This set up is a new favorite. She was still a gorgeous little girl even with a departure from the girly colors we used in the rest of the session.
Enjoy these sneak peaks from Miss Mia’s newborn session gallery!
