When Jody and Matt walked in with sweet little baby Olivia, I was so glad that I had stopped and gotten a bouquet of pink tulips on my way into the studio! Olivia was a perfect little five pound pixie!
Mom and Dad told me that Olivia was no fan of being naked so we wrapped her up snugly for a few photographs with her parents and she was perfectly content! I love the shots of Jody and Matt looking down at their beautiful little girl, you can tell they are so enamored by her.
There just wasn’t a prop that little Miss Olivia didn’t look absolutely precious in. I wrapped her up and set her in my teensiest bowl on the cutest little bump blanket from Whatsoever Things. With the tulips placed around her she looked fresh from the garden!
Of course I knew I had to use the bunny swaddle from Baby In Vogue. Olivia’s little hands were peaking out just enough to clutch one of the light pink tulips. After the prop shots was the first time I saw her little eyes and it was only because it was time to eat after all that hard work!
She was right back to sleep, though, and Matt joked that I should come over to get her to sleep like that at night! What can I say? I’ve got the magic touch! Also, I’ve got the magic noise maker, a really warm studio, the Baby Shusher app, and really good swaddling skills!
Regardless of her distaste for being naked, baby Olivia let me curl her up on her side in the sweetest bonnet from Riley’s Mom Makes Hats. I draped the most gorgeous floral wrap from Sweet Mily Mae around her and she looked absolutely angelic. She has eye lashes for days!
Olivia really was five pounds of little pixie perfection! I hope to continue to work with this sweet family in the future! Here is a look into our session.
